Iam trying to load a tune on ym 2002 mustang gt and i turn the key to the start position(right before a turn to start the motor) and the xcal2 keeps flashing turn the key then after about 1 min I get a "Powerup msg time out" and nothin happens. I checked for blown fuse and nothings blown.... SO i dont know what to do or what this means?

Let me ask the obvious... are you sure it's plugged in tightly into the OBD-II port?

To start loading your tune, start with the key in the OFF position and turn it to ON when the XCal tell you to.

... and by pressing "select" after you turned the key to ON.

umm make shure your car computer is the right one..cause when i had mine done, it didn't work then i found out the guy before me had changed my car from auto to manual...so your computer might not be the correct one for the sct program...might have to have the sct re-programed
