I FINALLY FIRED UP THE STANG FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 10 MONTHS!!!!!! AND ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW!!!!!
This thing sounds amazing with the high compression, lopey cam, and high flowing heads. Just a night and day difference the thing is LOUD!!! It is a big step up from 8:1 compression and 155rwhp.(see sig) Now the thing is sooooooo rich it just puffs smoke when you rev it, and now it is starting to run worse and worse. For some reason the timing light will not line up with the marks on the harmonic balancer so I have no clue what my timing is. I lowered it and it landed on 40 degrees any lower and it dies so I know something is definitely off. Any ideas? I will definitely get you guys some vids when we get her running right. Gonna try slapping a different carb on there and see what happens also. But I would like to get the timing set and then adjust the valves with the car on. First things first is this timing issue.
