Got the right hose? The fitting on the DS back of the upper intake is the prime candidate here as it will distribute the mixture quite evenly.
To make you feel better, though, my girlfriend's 150k t-bird barely gave a puff of smoke when we did this. Maybe your engine/pistons/chambers are super clean and there was nothing to burn off?
Try a second bottle and get that engine piping hot too. You should see some smoke the second time. Let it sit for a while the second time. Have it suck up a can through the fitting described above then shut down and let it sit like 10 minutes before you fire it back up.
Was it cold or hot outside? You should have at least seen some steam from the tail pipes. I did it on mine with about 800 miles after my rebuild and I had a little bit of smoke. Next time you do it, try pouring it in the intake. Another option (when you change plugs), is to pour it in the spark plug holes.
I sucked mine in through the hose that leads to the brake booster. I pulled it off the booster and started sucking it in. My car started smoking almost immediately. When the can was empty i shut the car down for 20 minutes then started it back up and let it run till the smoke stop. I also added some to my gas and crankcase. I did this the night before i left for FL.. On my trip i got 380 miles a tank and the car ran like a raped ape.

Why not should be the question? The way I look at it is, why wait for it to build up? Sea Foam recommends using it every oil change, but as often as you like. I think it is a mental thing for me. I use it every oil change on my Yukon as well. I have never heard anything bad about Sea Foam.
