Seat Cushion has worn down, need ford replacement part. Where can i order

So my drivers side seat cushion under the leather has worn down so much on the side facing the door that the steel seat frame is poking me in the leg and messing up the leather. THeres literally a steel bar poking me there. Its painfull, and i'm out of warranty.

So, where can i order the factory seat cushion, and how hard would it be to fix?

well, we can get them. I would need either your vin # or a trim code off the certification label on the driverside door jamb. I can tell you it won't be cheap.

Wont be cheap for a piece of styrofoam cushion??!

thats no joke i called ford about a cover to get rid of the drivers seat wrinkles and they said like $500 just for the lower,absolutely ridiculous

most of the seat cushions only come wth the seat cover and in your case, its Leather

Ah, i gotcha, so it would be a direct bolt on to the seat back, and i wouldnt have to actually take the leather off and reapply it... So what all do i need to match it up correctly?

I would just look on ebay for a replacement seat in leather in your color. I've seen seats go for pretty cheap on there, as low as $250 for a pair of front seats in decent condition.

You could try an auto seat/upolsterer. It may be repairable.
Estimates are free.Also call a salvage yard for seat from a wreck

Mine began doing that and eventually tore the seat. It got bad enough that I stuffed a rag/sock in it. It was the side closest to the door aswell.

standard foam

all i did was cut some strips and push enough in till it was even with the other side

Depending on the condition of your other seat, I would look into some nice aftermarket seats--but that depends on how long you want to keep the car and more importantly, your budget.

It seems like they are a ripoff just for some foam. I just ran a base mustang LF seat cushion part#XR3Z-63632A23-BA as an example and the list price is $191. One for the 03+ cobra cost $120.
