I don't really consider this tech, so I'm posting in here. I have the chance to pick up a really clean 93 LX black cloth rear seat for my 1984 coupe. The seat is said to be on an 87-89 seat frame. Will it mount into my 1984 coupe?

Basically, will an 87-89 coupe rear seat frame bolt into a 1984 coupe? Thanks!

I was told that I'll need to install the lower seat bar from an 87-93 model in order to get the rear seat to work in my 1984, can anyone verify this? If that's true, can anyone hook me up with one?

I don't know anything about the seat, but I know the front end from a 87-93 mustang will fit on there!

seats mount different between 87-89 and 90-93...at least the bottoms do.

90-93 use bars, but 87-89 use clips that secure the front of the seat bottom.

I'm not sure how a 90-93 seat can mount on a 87-89 clip system

take the bars and seat belts from a 90-93 car. a 90-93 seat will not fit without them and will look weird with the seat belts not coming through the holes in the middle of the seat.
