well the first time since I bought my car I found the cobra seats in the color I want and they went for $1000 used on ebay. I assume it would be a year or 2 till next time and to me $1000 for used seats that are 5-6 years old is just too much.

why are people paying that price for used seats? wouldn't it be cheaper to just get your own seats professionally re-upholstered? how much does that typically run?

Thats how much I paid for my 03/04 seats shipped to my house. A few people on here got them for dirt cheap but on average a set of 03/04s go for around $600. If its a rare combo like the tan or black inserts they might be a little more pricey.

I looked into the custom seats and it would be more than that if you did the alcantara like the Cobras have. Plus you would have to put new foam in the seats to give you the support that the Cobras have too and thats $$.

You can buy a brand new set of Sparco's off of LMR for cheaper than that. Or if you just don't want to spend the cash on either or get your stock ones reuphostered, the Summitt simulated leather seats are probably the best bank for your buck, I might be gettng a pair soon because my driver seat needs new foam from my big arse.

i got mine out of a 11k miles cobra for 400 bucks locally, just gotta keep an eye out, mine are black with the light grey insert
