Well I've got the entire interior of my car sitting in the basement so I brought the inst. cluster to work. I can modify it to work with some nicer guages. I did a scale "model" of the panel so far.

If I can afford all the guages right away I will do like the picture shown here if not I will only add a tach and keep the stock speedometer and fuel guage (also have to leave the oil PSI - but "unplugged"). At least I can remove the stock tach, volts, and water temp to the left.

It's not an easy job to do because there isn't much room but I think I can do this - if not I only waste a 2.3L inst. cluster anyway...

The files have been sent to a place so I can get some panels laser cut, the panel will fit perfectly within the holes between the large black plastic thing and the white backing. The plastic thing needs to be trimmed and the back part of the white piece needs to go away... Dremel comes in handy here.

thanks

Looks good! Doesn't Florida 5.0 make one as well?

Thanks, in the final version the guages are closer together and there are less modifications needed to the stock cluster housing Right now I just got a full scale print out of the guages and might take a pic sometime lol
