I run a 2003 4.6 with power mods (Vortech supercharger, Steeda s/s exhaust - suspension mods are next!). As you might imagine, the factory tires are played at 12k miles. I want to replace them with tires that are practical for every day use in a wet climate (South Florida) yet also maximize handling and performance. Any suggestions??

Yoko AVS sports or Pole position S-03's, they are both good warm weather
tires with good wet weather traction. I've never had Nittos, but I've heard
that they're good also.

Tire Rule #1: You get what you pay for.

I don't care what anyone says, if you buy cheap tires, you get cheap performance. I run the BFG G-Force KDW, and they are a great tire, but they do cost a little more, but you get much more performance from them. I would recommend them over anything else if you are looking for wet performance also. I have the vortech too and mine hook pretty good. The pole position s-03's, pirelli p-zero's are good tires, and the michelin pilot's, too. I am not saying that kuhmo's and the Non Drag Radial nitto's are bad, because I have had them before and they are round and they roll, just don't expect anywhere near the traction of the higher dollar tires. For the most part they are more expensive because it costs more to make a better tire. Sorry for the rant, I have just heard alot of people wanting to know which is the cheapest tire I can get and how well they perform. Well they are round and they roll, but they they don't balance well and they have bad traction and they have alot of road noise.
