Put them in the front yard (off of the street and put them up on blocks). You can easily tie it up for two years in court. It will take them 6 months of warnings just to get to filing in court part.
I almost bought a house with an HOA and a stupid rule about no working on cars in your garage....they were so tight they meant you couldn't change your oil at home.
On other thing, most HOA rules are no legally enforcable, they just bully you into thinking they are.

More likely, it'd be put in the carport, and both Bell and Dammit would be relegated to the slab. I'd be willing to make sure it's in proper working order (mechanic on property)
