Selling the Stang - how much tho?

I am going to put my mustang up for sale either today or tomorrow. I want to get something newer. I am not to sure what kind of asking price I should do. Here is the info:

Model: GT
Color: Black
Miles: 71,000
Condition: Pretty good - got a few chips on hood. Other then that its in good condition.

I pretty much paid nearly 5k in all these mods retail. That being said, my car KBB for private around 15k. With all my mods, what should I ask? Is 16,500 to high? I am located in Long Island, NY

The modifications only add value for very specific buyers. Many may avoid it thinking it has been run hard.

Remember too, you can always go down in price.....never up....when dealing.

I would not worry so much about the book value as I would the selling price of other like cars....with or without mods. Also, might ask some finance co. about financing amount. That can help your dealing.

I have 70k in miles on it already. I also have owned it for 5 years now. I wanted to sell it and save up for a down payment on a 07-08 GT500. I am 28, single, no kids... Figured I would try and do this now before that changes Lol
