Is that really the concept drawing for the new GTO?? They should've kept the current one going if that's what they are going to make it look like.

yea i don't like the looks of it! I think they should go with something more retro/classic like the 05 stang and get in the old look. Make the 2009 Pontiac GTO Judge or something. I think that would be nice with a big block in it. Yea i agree that the concept looks like a stretched cougar with probably the LS2 to fit in the stretched GTO

I heard they're discontinuing the GTO, so there won't be a 2009.

I also don't see it looking like that, looks like a kid drew it.

I believe GM came back & announced that they are going to build another GTO .... but not in the next year or two.

I like the looks of the current GTO but it has to have the 400 HP not the 350 HP, but i guess either would smoke me so i like both

the new gto will be based on the same platform as the new camaro. that australian company (holden, same as current design, there version is known as the monaro i think) is taking the lead in the design of these cars.
