SERIOUS PROBLEM!!!?! does yours do this?

Guys..lately i've been noticing after i cruise for a while..i hear this really mid pitched annoying whine in my car..it sounds like its coming from the back trunk or somewhere near the rear of the car..its a lot worse when the windows are up, ac off, radio down...is this normal? does ur do this? or is something really wrong? please hel!

it sounds like it might be something in the rear axle. did you get gears installed recentley?

thats what i thought at first (axle) feels like somethings slipping 2..but no i havnt installed the 3.73's yet..still have the 3.27's

I had a Z28 that started doing that and it turned out to be the rear end. My differential gasket had blown and all the fluid drained out. I ended up having to replace the rear end.
