If you keep the OEM serpentine, you will want to run an electric fuel pump, to make the install easy. Also, the OEM serpentine is a pretty deep system. Make sure you have enough room for a good fan and radiator shroud.
In the '66 below, I moved the engine back 5/8" and still couldn't fit the stock engine driven 5.0 clutch fan, due to 3" thick radiator core.
One more thing... where is the dipstick located on your engine? If it's on the side, you'll need to relocate it to the front when you change pans. It's a very easy job.
