Service Port Location?

I'm in need of help! I can't find the service port on my 1990 Mustang GT, and I have to install my new computer chip into it from Swanson Performance. Thanks.

The port for connecting a code reader is on the fender well next to the master cylinder. Every chip I've ever seen installs in the top of the computer. The computer is behind the kick panel in the passenger's footwell.

That makes a little more sense. Whats the best way to gain access to the top of the computer. Looks like you may be able to get to the top through the glove box opening if you remove it, other wise taking off the heater box. Any Suggestions?

Remove the kick panel. You'll need to remove the EEC and clean up the J3 connector before you install the chip.
