Installed my prochamber today along with Dallas Mustang MIL eliminators but on my way home from the shop the SES light came on. What could it be?

reset the computer by unpluging the negative battery terminal for about 30 minutes and reconnect and see if that works. If that dont then go get a set of Steeda MIL's. I installed my prochamber with the steeda MIL's and no check engine light to date and its been near 2 weeks now.

Thanks for the quick response guys. I'll reset the computer to see if that works. During the install, I only disconnected to positive battery cable. Hopefully that's the problem.

Resetting the computer didn't work. Ran up to autozone to have them read the code and it read 161 (defective O2 sensor). Does this mean the MILs are not working? I was very careful not to touch the tips of the O2 sensors. I also rechecked the connections and everything is good to go. Help.

I guess your MILs suck? When I installed my pro chamber and MILs everything worked out fine. Ive heard of a bunch of people having trouble with the Dallas MILs. Go get yourself a set of Steeda MILs like tater259 said.

had dallas mustang mil elims on mine for about a year. light stayed on about 90% of that year. the only thing worse than dallas mustang mil eliminators is the customer service from dallas mustang. finally got sick of dealing with em & got a sct custom chip when i got my gears, now its off for good. i'd call em and raise hell.

that was my experience anyway.

well before you go & spend more money give us specific codes. but the first thing i would try & do is switch the sides of the mil's. i know it sounds weird, but my buddy did that, cause dallas mustang told him to try it first, with his off road h & it fixed the problem. but if that doesn't do it, my guess is it's the front o2 sensors, not the rear. in which case you will need to but a new o2 sensor(s). but the specific codes will help us with which side(s) are bad & if it's the front or rear.

The code that autozone found was 0161. Hopefully that helps.
