thx for the moral support, it means alot to me to have someone just tell me what i want to know insted of telling me what they think i should do (dont get me wrong, im planning on doing all of this later) is just that right now im working full time at subway, and parttime on the weekends, so i dont have much time at all, maby 30 min every morning, and this is my dd so i cant do much of anything that will take time nor money

How will i know where to cut the second coil? to keep it from sitting slanted? also how much lower would it put the middle of the car, before i got the rear leafs and the exhaust done it would scrape on everything, especally my driveway, and that blood curdling scrape over the speedbumps at the mall is just soo cool (and no its not cuz im going to fast, i normallyinch my way over them) and what would be the affects to handleing with both (not together)

You cut the second coil the same way you cut the first. If it makes you feel better, measure from the bottom end of the first one to where you are cutting. That measurement should be the length where you cut the second coil. I used a cut-off wheel, and I keep the spring in the car. Its not going to fly anywhere as long as the shock is in the middle. Take a pair of vicegrips and turn the coil to where you want to cut. When its done, turn it back. Takes under an hour if you already have the car jacked up and wheels removed.

Why is everyone so hellbent against shackles, they are cheap quick and easy to install. If he had the extra dough he would have bought new springs.

Hey it feels good to occasionally tell it straight instead of waffling and taking the thread off on a tangent. Good luck to you! I also don't like the stock-like suspension heights, front always seems too high for the back.

yeah , i look at it and it looks like the front is soo much higher than the back, out back i have 255¿65?r15's and in the front i have 235/65R14's it might me the diff tire sizes that make it look so off, but i like the look of the bigger tires in the back
