I was curious if anyone out there knows if it is possible to add the shaker 1000 outside the factory? Reason i ask is that i found a used stang i really like but doesn't have the 1000. I like things factory or i'd go to best buy and have two woofers tossed in the trunk. Any thoughts are welcome.

Go with the MTX Thunderform. Get the powered one. It'll beasier, cheaper, and sound better.

I agree (and I'm a dealer). The 1000 is not worth the money - by the way, it's not just the subs. We stopped ordering Mustangs with the 1000 because it's actually harder to sell.

Find one out of a wrecked car if you must have it.
