shaker hood on a 1968?

Has anyone out there ever done this? I think it would be awesome. Have seen 1 car on e-bay with shaker on it but the guy wouldnt respond to my e-mail. Are the aftermarket kits decent? Thanks.

I dunno about the fiberglass kits but I went to www.karkraft.com and bought the aluminum shaker and adapter base. I'm probably going to fab up the base out of aluminium. I am not one for originality but I have little faith in fiberglass pieces... especially for the price they want. Shakers look awesome on 67/68 stangs. 69/70s look naked without it in my opinion.
