Shaker on Mach 1 Rattling

I have a 2003 Mach 1. Recently I have noticed that when I am driving, my shaker rattles really bad.. When the car is stopped and I move it back & forth, I can hear the same rattle. Could this be a loose bolt? Any help would be appreciated...

I would say so - check the tray that seats it onto the top of your intake.

I beleive there is a TSB for this problem.

If you aren't a member, you migth want to check out this site. Good place for Mach 1 owners and they will help you out (not that we can't...but i don't know the TSB number or fix)

The rattle you hear is plastic rubbing on hard rubber type ball stud.It will rattle at idle and when you get out and move the shaker yourself.Im sure its not a loose bolt.
Heres how you fix it...very easy.First remove the shaker by removing the 2 bolts under it,one on each side and pull up on the shaker,when its off look at the bottom and there will be 4 plastic sockets.Just rub wheel bearing grease in the sockets and put everything back and the rattle will be gone.Did it on mine in april and its still quiet.Also i think I may have put a lil too much grease in mine cause now the shaker shakes more than it did......
