One side of my brain says "OH MY GOD! That car would be GREAT to swap a V8 into! Look how clean it is! I bet the chassis has never seen a clutch drop!"

Then the other side says "Damn that's clean....WTF is that little thing under the hood? Where's the turbo? Hey WTF there's only one header? What's going on here?"

Haha - I think the same thing when I see it. It's such a sweet car - He's gotta spend 20+ hours per month keeping that little 4 cyl cleaned up. I give him tons of credit!

Thank you everyone. I've had her since day 1 and she has been a good one. It was a good thing I was checking her out while cleaning it. I found a gas vapor tube melted against the egr tube that was going to be melting some wires next. Luckily I found it and got it all zipped out of the way from danger. Cleaning is such an intricate part of finding potential problems. I found some friction tape and re-did some of the harness taping too. Sorry, I don't see an upgrade or motor change in the future, but I can tell you that in 2009 my wife's van will be paid for and I will be looking for another stang with a v8. My oldest will be 14 then and I know what he will be thinking.
