Apparently I 'had' some P/V issues. After starting my car yesterday, I hear a 'clack clack clack'. So I shut it off, and came back today to investigate. First I noticed a small hole in the primary on my number 5 cylinder. Took the valved cover off, to find the rocker just sitting on the spring, and pieces of the valve in the head. I have some questions. What is the probability of my piston being damaged, and how should I go about checking it for damage, besides visually. My heads are milled .025, with FELPRO gaskets, how can I increase P/V clearance without getting new heads or swapping cams? Also, is the front valve on cylinder 5 an intake or exhaust, so I can go ahead and order one? Seems like I'm plagued with one delima after the next.. Thanks for any 'positve' input.
