shaved door handels

i've always heard about how cool these are. but never have seen them. anyone know anything about them or where to get them. The kind where u use a remote to pop them open

they are cool summit sells the kit cant remeber how much though. they require a little bit of custom work if you want to shave the handle's.

there great but if your a racer, check with your local track because some wont let you race without door handles. In case you crash, they need a quick way to get you out! My buddy had them installed in his 10 sec. GT and then went to the track to make a few passes, when he hit the tech inspector, he wouldnt let him race because of the doors, even after showing him were the hidden door poppers are. Good Luck!

Body work for shaving door handles is expensive. You have to be so careful as to not warp the doors.

i did it to my 65 a few years ago, forgot the company, but i gotta nice kit. it was a job to install, had to drill out a place to mount the lil motors, then fab the rods to connect the popper to the latch, then run the wires etc, but when done its pretty sweet. only problems i had was the rod would work itself loose from the latch and then not open the door. that sucked. but all in all, its a super cool gadget!
