Turbo lag can be avoided for the most part with a setup that is CORRECT for the application. Bigger isn't always better when it comes to a turbo setup.

It guess it is all in how you define lag. Cause reaching max boost is several thousand RPMs away at full throttle.

i made them and dropped them.
i am looking for a way to avoid kinking the air charge.

nothing yet. i did modify the stock intake with a heat gun. picked up 27hp

9.010 @ 79 vs. 8.58 @ 81.49 with similar conditions

If you cut the manifold (red line) and make you adapter longer (green line) you will reduce the angle needed.

I do not know what RPM you are looking to turn. But making the runner longer will lower the tuned RPM. Here in example two the angle is a little greater than example 1 but less than your angle and it keeps the runner length just about original. Purple line.
