I got on the highway and noticed the turbo was louder than normal.
She spooled really quick, almost instantly, and then I get off the highway.
It idles at 1500 all the home then it settles down. I take it apart thinking it was the gasket between the intakes, nope. I can't find any leaks anywhere. She idles at 1000rpm and only pulls 11hg of vacuum. I think the rings are gone. What do you think is wrong?

how about a compression test/cylinder leakage test?

I was going to do a compression test this weekend. TurboFord seems to think my timing belt jump a tooth. We'll find out Thursday morning.

PCV pop out? sounds like a vaccum leak if the idle is staying high.

Well it finally dropped and stays at 1000. I was wondering if that loud whistling was a hose but I'll be damned if I can find it.
