Shift boot on an Automatic

i think shift boots do look very cool on our mustangs..so cool in fact, that i bought a 5 speed GT instead of an auto

Ok... so its a cobra boot... I'm thinkin one of those plus the trim ring and the first shifter posted (assuming it has the OD button on there somewhere, i've got all the buttons down there so no room to add my own switch) that looks sweet man, I like it.

how did you install the boot?

To me, I would never go with a boot that covers the gear indication, because I could never trust anyone to ever drive my car ... which happens from time to time. But that is just me. I went with a leather cover.
