is the shift knob thread the same on the 01s as the 05s? i want to get that bullitt shift knob from the 01 because it will hold the boot up. anyone anyone?

Sorry, but the shift knob threads are different, and the Bullitt know will not hold up the boot.

edit: just noticed the Tri-Ax part in your sig; the Bullitt knob will thread up to Steeda's handle. However, if you're going to use the Bullitt knob, make a washer sandwich (large diameter washer for under the boot opening, two smaller washers for the center, and one large diameter washer for the top/base of the shift knob). Hope this helps.

now i am happy! now where is the best place to order OEM ford parts online?
so basically the threads are different on the steeda, but you can get the oem knob on because the threads are plastic inside?
