Does anyone knwo where i can either get an aftermarket or stock shifter bushing for the tremec 3650 transmision. called ford the only way they sell it is by buying the stock shifter which is 180 bucks and there is no way i want to pay that for a 5 dollar bushing.

If your talking about the bushing that attatch to the shifter handle Steeda has them or GTR performance they are made out of steel or billet I think.

actually i am talking about the bushing on the end ball of the shifter that goes into the hole in the transmision. on the T-5 transmison it is a little thing that looks like a thimble on my tranny the tremec 3650 it is a bigger ball looking thing at least that is what the picture looks like on the shifter install. the whole deal is i bought a new shifter steeda tri ax due to the fact when i bought the car it had a broken b and m shifter in it. THat is when i noticed that there was no bushing in it.

yeah i know for a t-5 t-45 you can buy just the bushing and it is $3.75! But for my tremec they said that they don't sell it seperatly that there is no listing for it but it does come with the stock shifter kit, i called both greenway ford and don reid ford and they both told me the same thing....

I think the t-5,t45, and 3650 have the same bushing. I've change the shifter in my 91 and 03 and they look the same.
