Whats up guys. I am a new member of the board. Anyways, I was sick of all the noise and vibration coming from my Pro 5.0 so I created a new product that will help cut down on this gear whine noise and vibration that alot of people complain about. These gaskets will remove the need to use messy RTV silicon when installing your shifter. Instead of putting a bead of the silicon down, you simply lay these pre-cut gasket over the base of the transmission and then install your shifter. I am also including gaskets for the shifter handle as well. The shifter handle gaskets will also help cut down on vibration. The gaskets will in no way interfere with the proper functioning of your aftermarket shifter. I have gaskets for the T5/T45, T56, and TR3650 transmission. They will work regardless of what aftermarket shifter you have. i.e. Pro 5.0, Tri-Ax, etc, etc. I am selling these for $12 shipped to your door. I accept paypal @ fiveomuscle@yahoo.com If you would like to pay with another form of payment please email me and we can work something out. Also email me if you have any questions. Here are some pics....

I guess no one really has a complaint with their aftermarket shifter being to noisey and producing alot of vibration. Are V6s the only ones with that problem?

I have heard lots of people that say its more noiser than stock and it vibrates more too. I dont know how much more it is compared to stock shifter though. I have also heard that the pro 5.0 is less noiser than the tri-ax from steeda. Just do a serch for shifters in the forums. Or search for pro 5.0, then steeda tri-ax.

Yeah, my Pro 5.0 was a little noisey and the stick would vibrate like crazy in 2nd gear. That was the thing that annoyed me the most. The gaskets I made fixed both of those problems. Most of the people I have sold my gaskets to said that after installing the gaskets, the noise from their transmission is as quiet as it was when their car was stock. I have sold a few sets to 03 Cobra owners and several to GT and V6 owners with either the Pro 5.0 or Tri-Ax shifter. So I am assuming that its a problem that occurs to all Mustangs with an aftermarket shifter.

will they hold up to the heat that the transmission puts off?

That was the first thing I was worried about. The transmission generates alot of heat. The gaskets are made out of high-temp rubberized material. Capable of standing up to 425 degrees Farenheit. Before I sold ANY of them I made sure they would hold up.

With my Tri-Ax I can hear the whine of the tranny gears but not enough to bug me , I will say that I kind of like it but I know some people who has put a little piece of bicycle inner tube between the handle and the shifter itself and got rid of most of the whine , almost like the factory shifter , the handle is rubber mounted..
