Okay, I tried to take the leather boot and stuff off on my car so I could check the shifter stops, believe thats what theyre called. Anyways, it's hooked up to the lighter thing, then its hookd up to traction control, and there theres around little black wire that goes in the center. As dumb as this may sound, how do you "unplug" those... I really didn't mess with it for long, but I pushed and pulled and it didn't seem like it was going anywere, and obviously I have to unhook those before I can get the shifter boot off to look at the stops on the tri ax.

I have an 03 and just installed my Tri-Ax this week. I only had the lighter to unplug but if yours is similar to mine look around the side of the connector and you will see a small opening, take a small screw driver or something similar and press down on the little clip inside the opening. Then pull the connector off at the same time. When re-assembling it will clip back in place.

you have to push on the tab that is on the connector and it will come apart, don't try to force it or you will break the clip.

Your talking about on the traction control, right? I tried pushing on every damn thing I saw... but it wasn't going anywhere. Also, anyone have the middle wire that goes to something in the center?
