Hey guys, I know this has been talked about a lot but I had a question about my 04 gt. . . Im getting ready to buy a shifter, but I couldnt remember what tranny I have. :bang: Im pretty sure I have the t45 tranny, cause the tko and the 3650 are more race type applications, right? thanks for your help!

oh ok. . . I actually figured that out after shopping for shifters for a while. . . :( It just goes to show you to read your stuff before making new threads for nothing. . .

but whats tsb? and I dont have a tcs button, so I dont think I have it but Im not bummed.

I just read the first couple pages on the 3650 problems thread. . . yikes!!

A TSB is a technical service bulletin. It is something Ford puts out that lets the dealer know what's up. TSB's though are NOT recalls. They can be fixed under warranty BUT you have to have a specific complaint that fits the description of the TSB. The 3650 TSB right now is difficulty shifting into 2nd gear when cold outside (ie. grinding gears).

get the tsb done for sure. i have the 3650 in my 04 and second went but i worked at a dealer so i got a new tranny. it is something about sincros being in backwards. oh and you don't need an aftermarket shifter just learn the one you got!!
