1971 Mach 1 351 4V Winsor.
Wondering if anyone could tell me the approx speeds my Ford C4 3 speed transmission should be shifting gears?
Right now I am only guessing it is the original transmission.
It has been a long time since I owned a older car. It shifts from first to second between 10 an 15 mph. Then shifts from second to third around 30 to 35.
It just feels that it needs another gear to me. I have had it up to 80 with no problem but seems strange.
I know there is only 3 gears but just checking with others. Don't want to ruin the transmission.
