Okay heres the deal, my situation is that after a good launch and WOT in first gear I break traction about 4.5-5k. If I do a good quick shift I will continue to spin almost all the way through second gear (if I hit second hard at all I will break traction horribly). I have decent street tires on my car and my question is what would be better:
1. shifting how I mentioned and deal with the spinning
2. granny shifting into second so I catch traction and don't continue to spin
3. let off WOT in first and go slower into second
My main concern is which will give me the best acceleration and get me going the fastest. Thanks.

Better suspension setup, and better tires. Now for the broke student, granny it after WOT first gear, or some light feathering of the throttle in second.

I have the same problem, too. Even if I granny it into second and roll into it, she'll break loose when I get to WOT. I want DRs, but I'm saving to do wheels at the same time.
