Shiftkit coming... what brand?

Just what the title says, I am getting a shiftkit within a week but I am not sure which one I should go with. I am getting my AOD transmission rebuilt and want a shiftkit put in with it. Since I am sure some of you are experienced with shift kits I thought I would ask here

I don`t know a lot about shift kits as I have a 5spd,but from what I`ve read,DON`T buy the Trans-Go shift kit.

It shifts into OD at wide open throttle even with OD switched off.This is not good.

Baumann,(sp)? is a name that that gets praised.

I was looking into the same options..Have doing some quick math it was to the point that i was going to buy a new lentech AOD.. after the converter, valvebody, shifter, servo.. and all the good stuff... i was looking at over 2000 for it.. so im going with a t5 swap for now.. got like 2 t5s on the side.. and i will be saving up for a tko.. but if i stay with the auto.. look into a edge stall.. if its a street car u would want a lock up but u can talk to andre tho.. i think thats his name.. but for a shift kit baumann.. or a lentech valvebody also forgot u should really really look into some rear gears

All there is to fixing the TransGo kit's problem is not installing the 3-4 valve that comes with the kit... it is as simple as that. Very easy to do and saves you the effort of installing a new one!
