For normal driving I get into the highest gear as fast as possiable to save gas.
I'd say I'm already in 5th by 50mph. I shift somewhere in the 2k-2500 range.

2500 to 3000 if I'm just taking my time. Generally I like to get up to speed a little quicker, though, so more like 3500 to 4000 in lower gears.

Usually around 24-3000 if im driving like normal.

If Im driving like a grandma, usually 2-2300 rpm.

If im pissed or really feel like driving than 3500-4500 or so.

Im scared to rev it over 4 on a regular basis. Is that weird?

3000-3500 for normal driving around town.
I enjoy hearing my exhaust when I can if traffic permits.

Man o' man....how'd you guys get keys to a mustang gt? When I had mine, almost every shift was at least 4k, unless I was cruising thru the subdivision with a limit of 20. And at least one sprint of up to 5500-6k each drive thru 1st and 2nd.

I shift at 3k....that's my norm unless i'm merging on the highway or just wantin to get to speed quicker i'll shift around 4k or more.
How can you guys stand shifting at ~2,300???

I keep my revs around 2k-2,300 when cruising in a gear....my bf cruises in his GT around 3k...

So those that shift pretty early, do you usually drive like in 5th while going 35? I never really thought about that until my uncle drove my car and he went all the way to 5th while going 35. We asked him what he was doing and said basically the car is almost in idle. Not sure how much gas you really save.....I've gotten the same MPG throughout my modding years. in July I got 340 miles in a tank and could've gone farther but saw a really cheap gas station.

With 3.73's if I shift at 2k I have to shift every 5 MPH so you're looking at 4th gear at about 2500 RPM and 5th gear is about 40 MPH...

Usually I do 2500-3000 but more than not 5500...
