Does anyone know if there is a difference between 4, 6, and 8 cylinder cars shocks and struts? I need new ones in my 4cyl. and want to make sure I get the right ones. These are for 87-93 foxes

Yes there is a difference. Stick with Fox struts, don't look at Sn95 struts

The 87+ 4-cyl uses the same struts as the 79-86 V8 Mustang. The mouting flange width is different.

If you plan on sticking with the 4-banger brakes and spindles get the 79-86 struts, if you want to upgrade to 87+ V8 brakes and spindles, get the 87+ struts. They can be made to work on the 4-cyl spindles using hardened washers for the time being, but i wouldn't do that as a permanent solution
