Shocks/Struts Bushings/Bolts question(s)..

Ok so the UPS man decided to show up with my steeda springs at 6 PM

It was raining and I decided to go out there and put in rear springs.. That's how much I love my stang

Anyhow, getting LCA to line up to the axel was a piece of cake for me alone.. But the problem is the rear shocks. The bushing that they provided are so damn thick that it took me about an hour to get the dirver side on. Then on the passenger side.. it's impossible I couldn't get the stud to come up high enough to bolt it on.. So, I used stock bushing for the time being.

Should I trim the new bushing a little? Would that hurt anything? Just a tiny piece of it just enough for the bolt to fit.

Another question is do I want the top struts and shocks bolt to be tight tight? Or just enough to get the whole bushing rotated?
