Shocks/Struts: Warranty Work

the left rear shock on my car is busted. it's been busted for awhile

would ford replace it or would they call it a "wear and tear" part

They will replace it if it is within the 3year/36k mile warranty. But then you are stuck with stock crap shocks again. If you have the money, just upgrade to some better ones...Tokico, Bilstein, etc.

need the money for tires


i plan on buying new shocks when i get new springs but that won't for awhile.

same thing happened to my left rear shock at about 9 or 10k miles...they replaced it under warrenty without any problems...then a month later i got some sportlines...so now they probably won't warrenty anything...now that i think about it the only warrenty i got left is probably interior stuff lol
