You have to understand the cost of living in San Diego is much higher then in N.D. The average house is 400-650K. So labor costs will be more. Also the averge cost for a gear change in San Diego is about $450. So $250 is a steal

Agreed, I'm stationed in So Cal now and cost of living is alot more, although you still should be able to get a gear install for under 300.00, I would do it myself if I couldn't get cheaper

ya the cost of living in SB is extremely high. a 3 bedroom tract house in my neighborhood just sold for 1.1million. the house i live in is about 1.4 million, and its a 5 bedroom 2 story with no land.

the lowest ive seen for shop labor here is $70 an hour. my friends dealer charges $130 an hour labor. this is assuming that you get it done as if you were walking in asking for a gear swap and paying full price. i dont include people doing it on the side.

o ya up until about 3 weeks ago i was paying $3 a gallon for 91 octane.

Sorry guys i was working overtime.. didnt get a chance to get back on the thread..
yeah its 600 canadian.. the exchange rate is not that bad anymore.. its about 1.24 so 250 US is around 300 canadian. So looks like 600 for the install is just totally STUPID! So in that case i should shop around i guess... And why i quoted you my man is if your serious.. im gonna do that. LOL
Ill drive down there and party and get themn installed if its actually that much cheaper.. i could use a vacation anyways.
anyone else know where it would be cheap to get it installed.. also is 250-300 US about the average cost for the install or is that incorrect.. anyone have anything to add ... please.. I WANT MY 4.10's!!!!!!
