Probably going with a 331 short block, trick flow top end kit, other bolt ons. Also, want to run on pump gas. Car is my daily driver and will be so unless I get another car.

Always wanted a supercharger, staying 5-8 psi (paxton sl). Or maybe a single turbo kit.

Will the stock block hold up? How much hp do you think I could make n/a? And then with a s/c or single turbo?

I've been thinking about going with a 351w (408) but I'm thinking a 331 would be more streetable, better on gas, etc. Plus, supporting mods/swap parts seem to add up quickly. Maybe a 408 would be better for a second build? Thoughts, ideas, opinions, help? Thanks!

Anyone? and.....

How about this question: Pros and Cons of these two for a 331? Hp differences?

331 stock short block, high compression, want to run pump gas, trick flow track heat top end kit, stage one cam, 70mm throttle body, 76mm mass air meter, 30 lb injectors, bkk shortys, other bolt ons

or

331 stock short block, low compression- paxton/vortech 5-8 psi, trick flow top end kit-stage one cam, 70mm throttle body, 76mm mas air, 30 lb injectors, bbk shortys other bolt ons

You would more then likely make more power while beening streetable with this one.
Oh and the stock block is good for around 500 + or - some matters who you talk to.
