Malejos said:Steeda Tri-Ax is the way to go. Don't cheap your mustang. If your going to replace the shifter do it right the first time. I have a Tri-ax on my 99 Cobra and the shifts could'nt be better short and more precise and I have not missed a gear!

I OWN a Tri-Ax, and I have driven many Pro 5.0 ( I actually prefer a pro 5.0 with a MGW handle better than my Tri-ax with a MGW handle). I will be replacing my shifter with a MGW piece.
I highly recommend you at least look into the MGW complete shifter, its the only shifter out there that is different enough to warrant a patent for the design. All the others out there are just like the stock piece, with just better material. If you know anything about MGW, you would know that everything is done with great craftmanship, design and engineering.
There are far too many people out there that have only tried one product and swear by it. The independent reviews of the MGW shifter should be out this week, so you can check it out. I will post a link when I see it.
