Shortblock?

well, DSS has had a reputation all through the 90's I guess. their old nickname was Dog **** Shortblocks. I just tore my motor apart after things kept breaking and found out that they didn't blueprint my motor. mains are all out and the cylinders are all different diameters soo... If you buy a shortblock from them, take it to a guy with a good mic, and measure it to be sure, if it's bad, send it back, they'll cover ya.

Talk to fryjr on fnSweet, he has a DSS block, took them like 2 weeks from start to delivered and he really seems to like it. You're gonna have some problems if you're making above around 420rwhp with some of your Roush stuff...

I run a DSS pro bullet, and have been very happy with it. I pulled it apart when I got it and did a few extra things, but everything looked good inside while I was there... I chose DSS on the reccomendation of a friend of mine who runs a mustang shop, who said he had never had a problem with their motors. (he also relayed that "I cant say the same about Coast...") .
I would reccomend DSS, on a bang for the buck basis.
