shortblock poll

so its come time to pick a new shortblock, I can't decide what to go with. I have searched the threads and found bad stuff about dss and chp but nothing bad about ford performance solutions. Anyway looking to get a 306 for less than 1800 seeing as i'm money challenged ( poor ). Anyone have any suggestions?

A fourth option...

Buy a kit and build it yourself.

It is not as difficult as it seems at first.

i built the one that is currently in it, just don't feel like doing it again. would rather focus that energy on more porting.

maybe you missed the part were i said i'm poor.....when i build the cobra kit car though...in like 7 years, dart aluminum 427 small block monster!

DSS has a good rep.

If it were me I'd build it myself. Or if not inclined, pay a credible machinest.
