Shorties to Long tubes?

Well its time to buy an off road mid pipe and i have to decide whether i should get long tubes or not. I don't want to loose any torque down low when going from the 1 5/8 shorties to the 1 5/8 long tubes. My current setup is: 94 cobra, frpp shorties, 6lb powerdyne supercharger, stock midd pipe, and bassani catback.

Do you guys think i should get the long tubes? Will it increase my torque down low?

i'll never go back to shorties..................didnt notice a loss anywhere but i felt/HEARD the gain.........

Just make sure that the long tubes you buy have good collectors. A friend of mine just swapped over from 1 5/8 inch FRPP's to BBK 1 3/4 inch long tubes on his N/A 331. It netted him "0"HP on the dyno. He cut off the collectors and put on race style and picked up 15 RWHP.
