I have a guy who has been dyno tuning my car and he said that he has a used vortech A trim that he would sell to me for 800 that is with brackets and everything to make it work. He said that I could send it off (or he could) and get Vortech to rebuild with the same internals that comes in the S trim version. So I was wondering if yall think that it is a good deal or not. How much would it be you guess to send to Vortech and have them rebuild? He would probably put it in for a good price to. The only thing is, is that it doesn't come with a bigger fuel pump Im guessing so I am sure I would have to get one. Thanks for the help guys.

i didn't think the a-trims fit on sn-95s cause of the accessory brackets. i'm pretty sure that it only fits on a fox body.

well the guy I am buying it from works at a race team and they can pretty much fab up whatever it needs to work so I don't think that It would be a problem. I figured that it would be a custom job.

Depending on how much voretech charges to rebuild, 800 plus rebuild cost, you might as well buy a new one. you can get s trims for 2000. used ones for less.

well to be honest I all I am looking for is around about that much boost. I just want something that will push me over the 300 rwhp mark. I am making about 255 rwhp now so I figured a supercharger like this and a good tune maybe I could do that. But then again when I get it on I would probaby want more and wished that it could make more power so maybe I should just spend the extra money and get what I really need (a S trim).

If you can get the brackets and everything, plus the blower for $800 I'd go for it. Just make sure it fits an SN95. Now Im not sure what Vortech charges for to retro the internals, but Im guessing its around 500. Even if it came out to $1500 total, thats a great deal for an a blower with all new internals. Also, you can find new 255lph fuel pumps on ebay for something like $115 shipped.
