Okay so
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...97&ssPageName=MERC_VI_RSCC_Pr4_PcY_BIN_Stores
1)They look nice, but polished aluminum.. I'm not too famililair with it, is it okay or will it fade and look crappy next month?

2)A rated tires, never heard of such a thing. Are these good?

Thanks,
EG

speed rating Y, A and AA are referring to traction and tredwear. never heard of that tire, but the specs look good on it.

You won't have any problem with the polished aluminum. Aluminum is the base metal so it won't chip (maybe scratch if you hit curbs). I have silver bullits with the polished lip and I find them easier to keep clean than chrome. I armor all the tires and just wipe off the rims. Problem with chrome is any blemish will show and are much harder to keep clean. As the other guy mentioned I haven't head of the tire either.

Only thing I see is that there 18" rims so be ready to feel the bumps.

Good Luck

I paid 800 for my Cobra R - chromes wheels. That didn't include the tires. Who gives a ***** about the tires. I look at that as being as added bonus of the deal. Burn those off the rim and no big deal in my opinion.

If I was you Id go with at least Y or Z rated tires. I got Z rated Dunlops on my cobra R's and i can definitly feel the difference over **** tires.

According to the charts, Y is rated at 186 mph. Don't know how fast you plan on going but thats good for me.

Your limiter will kick in around 120 mph, so there's no need for Z rated tires, unless you like replacing your tires every six months. Z rated tires usually don't come with tread wear ratings as they only last 20K miles.

As far as chrome vs. polished. I like chrome myself, but that's just me.

As far as 18" rims go, expect to have a harsher ride and higher 1/4 miles times due to the added weight.
