Hello I’m looking to get a 01-04 gt as a daily driver. I’m young and want something cheap that I’ll be able to build and mod myself in the future as time goes on. I found this one today it’s a 2001 gt auto it’s pretty ugly right now but I would have all those decals taken off and put a new grille and hood, probably paint it black or grey. It looks like it’s in great condition and it’s a auto, hardtop, 8 cylinder just like I want What do you guys think does it look like it’s in good shape it has 69,000 miles. The owner claims it’s a bullitt edition??

I doubt it is a Bullitt as there are too many unique to the Bullitt pieces that are not on this car (and anyone with any intelligence would not remove - especially to later claim it is a Bullitt).

A few items are: wrong gas cap, Bullitt's don't have spoiler, wrong intake manifold, seats are wrong, gauges are wrong, it does not appear to have Cobra brakes and I think the Bullitt's were all manual trans.

Still could be a nice car but highly unlikely a Bullitt

Yea haha I would’ve been surprised if that was truly a bullitt

Bullitts where never made in silver.

Other than the horrid hood and vinyl side graphics, it looks good to me. Dont let him drive up the price for being a fake bullitt

Wow, the price on that is stiff. Guess it must be the market areas. Still, if it is as nice as the interior looks and really at 69k miles, it may be worth a bid...crazy decals and stick-ons notwithstanding.

Looking past the stickers and other gawdy mods, it's actually a clean car in decent condition. The silver sticker package on the interior was an available package from Ford that differed from the Interior Upgrade Package on the 2003-2004 GT's.

I believe those are Steeda wheels.

I'd probably buy it, but i'd have to remove all the stickers (inside and out) and put a stock hood back on it and a Mach 1 grill. Then it would look like my old 2003GT that i sold when it had 69K miles.

I agree, not a Bullitt. Looks just like my stock '02 sans all the "fru-fru". A lot of extra "stuff" doesn't make it worth that much to me. I paid less than half that much for mine a few years ago.
