Should I Buy This 351???? quick help please

a friend is selling a 351 engine and i need to know how much it all might be worth. all of it is fresh from the machine shop and disassembled, its a 70's 351 block with a polished aftermarket crank and keith black pistons thats all been balanced suposedly, eddy victor Jr heads and vic jr intake, demon 750 carb, msd distributor and digital 6plus box, new comp cam and all the bearings in the boxes, complete engine except for a water pump.....whats it worth guys and what should i check for to make sure its legit?

Does he have the reciepts? How good of a friend is it?

About how much are you looking to pay for it?

i do need to see about reciepts for the balancing and machine work. after looking up the prices of the parts new online, its easily $3k worth of parts other than the block, what should i offer i'd pay around $1500 if its worth it
