Should I buy wrecked 94 GT for $500?

Friend of mine has a friend who wants to lose a 94 GT 5-speed he has for 500 bones. I figure since I have a 95 GT, I could use the car for parts. I'm thinking I should gut it for what I need and then leave it on the street. Any suggestions or does anybody need parts? Its maroon, leather interior but no seats, runs great, but wrecked, and of course all the brake parts are good, 8.8 rear. I was thinking about taking the whole drivetrain and brakes off and transfering it to an 85 or something.

Don't do that. The cops will trace it back to last registered owner (your friend) and then fine his ass. You friend will love you for that.

But anyway you can part the car out for a lot more than $500. I once paid $250 for a 1990Gt and parted it out for $1500. I would part cars out more often if i had the room and didn't live in a neighborhood that would hang me if my hood is left open for more than 2 hours

I dont need the rear end, Just Axels, Calipers etc etc etc
And everything from the front

What got wrecked? I need a front clip. If it's cheap enough, I'll drive down and cut it off for you.

the is where Mustang V8's suffer the most damage, more motor than brakes.

I think it's obvious what to do. $500, the shortblock is worth more than that, let alone the other parts such as the tranny. Right now I am consiering a '93 with a good body and no motor.
