Should I delete my front sway bar?

More that that I am positive.

Some will say it will make your car unstreetable, but then again some feel that an A/C delete will make your car unstreetable as well.
I had no idea the FRONT SWAY BAR weighed more than 10 lbs , oh well live and learn.
Please excuse my dumb ignorance !

the front swaybar ways a good 30 pounds. i took myne off a while ago and i have had no regrets the car just feels a little loose inb the front end but weight transfer is way better the front end comes up nicely

The front swaybar is about 22 lbs. I weighed it when I removed it 3 years ago. To be honest, handling wise, I noticed no real difference. I can still take turns at 60mph on the highway which is good enough for me. I'm not a road racer nor do I have interest in that so off it went!

i pulled my sway bar a couple months ago. im running 4 banger springs in the front and strange 10 way struts set on 6 and i have absolutely no drive ablility problems. the sway bar is dead weight. i weave in and out of traffic on the freeway and take turns like i did when i had a sway bar.

I had mine out for a while. I thought I could get away with it because the "C" springs I put in were so much stiffer than stock. I recently put it back in because the front end swayed like a pig. Handling sucked and I didn't notice any benefits when it was gone. I agree that it weighs about 30 lbs. I shoulda weighed it when it was out. Oh well, taking it out gave me an opportunity to upgrade to poly sway bushings and end links.

I took mine off the other day and noticed no real difference in handling. My steering wheel felt a bit "looser" when turning but thats about it. Surprisingly, I could actual feel a difference, especially when in 2nd gear. The car "lifts" up more as stated. The only downfall to it is now when I hit bumps while making a tight turn I can hear this rubbing sound coming from the front end. Kind of like the tires are rubbing or something. I left the sway bar end links on just incase I wanted to reinstall the bar, so maybe the end links are rubbing against something as they are no longer turning with the wheels. Oh well, all in all I'm glad I removed it. It was one of those "FREE" mods.

Also, the sway bar is pretty heavy! A lot heavier than I expected. It weighs at least 30lbs.

I've heard good and bad things about removing the front swaybar.. it's off mine, but I've never actually driven it on the road (no power steering pump, slicks, open headers) so I have no personal experience.

I think it's a good bit of weight though, like 20. Just as another thought for you, Steeda offers a lightweight front swaybar that takes off about 5lbs from the stock one and is supposed to be much better anyway.
