should i hook my 02s sensors up?

well when i bought my car they were bad, then i put my o/r h pipe on and never hooked them back up, and you gotta love the smell of a uncatted car, but some times my car smells so rich, like where it burns your eyes a red light, so i was wounder maybe i should hook the o2s back up?

i would get the new sensors and put them on with some mils, so the computer will correct, otherwise, you could burn your valves if it runs too lean, and it's costing you valuable fuel mileage running rich like that, or when it's running lean.

my air/fuel gauge always read it the stoich area, and toward the rich side above 4k rpms

I am assuming you mean the rear ones,you should have them turned off in the tune or use mil. elim. rear o2's won't make your car run rich like that

could cause your car to run lean, you could burn up your valves which can cause other problemos.

Holy ****, you have all 4 O2's disconnected and you're driving the car? As said above you're very lucky something major hasn't happened. If it goes too lean you could get some holes burned into the pistons, burned valves, detonation possibly causing a piston ringland or the piston itself to develop a crack.

Bottom line. DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR until you hook the front O2's back up. When you do, you should also reset the ECU for good measure because who knows what kind of adaptives it has stored right now.

i just hooked up the front 02s it runs the same as before, but now my a/f gauge bounces from lean to rich when i rev it???

Is it a wide band or narrow band AF gauge? A wide band will go rich and then instantly go lean when you let off.

You need to unhook the battery for awhile to reset the PCM...

Your car probably didnt know what was going on so it started dumping fuel like crazy to keep you from running lean

yeah it goes rich, then lean as soon as i let off, its an autometer gauge if that matters.. what the diff between narrow band and wide band???
